Interim post

I was going to slap someone very hard today, but he's redeemed himself a bit in the meantime, so I'm having to readjust my head and, since I haven't got the time to write a proper slap right now, I'd just like to say this: whatever field you work in, do not tell someone who's worked in it longer than you what is or is not traditional in that field. It's kinda insulting.

That's all.

More later.

  1. Oh, what a world of anticipation lives in that cocked arm, that unreleased slap!

He, whoever he is, doesn't know how close he came, LOL!

  2. LOL! There's only a tenuous link between my advice and the potential slappee. And if he knew of the existence of this blog he would have a pretty good idea of how close he came, I think.

  3. Has blogger gone post-modern? What's with all these "make up your own post" posts?

  4. People liked my guest's post very much, and I can promise the next ones will be just as good. It's the Internet, ain't it?: everyone coming in and out of everyone else's places.

Do I gather you wouldn't want to be invited to write a slap, in a few months' time?

  5. Well, heck. There's nothing so rotten as being all ready to slap someone and then having to back off, is there?

  6. It's the tell-you-later anticipation that is getting me all jittery. I like the fluidity very much. I'm just not very good at sitting still and waiting patiently. WHO NEEDS SLAPPING TODAY?

  7. I'm just surprised you didn't go ahead, haul off and let him have it just because you would have enjoyed it. This seeking of reason behind slaps takes the fun out of it. xoxo
